I took full advantage of this (except it was crowded with probably a thousand people). Our room at Mandalay Bay was MUCH nicer than our room last year at Paris. The bathroom was bigger than our bedroom at home, with it's own flat screen by the tub, in addition to the 50" plasma in the room. Craig was in heaven. This was a really cool place to hang out...until we got our bill which included 2 drinks each for 4 people. We're talking over three figures, practically four! At that point I decided I wasn't going to pay attention to how much anything cost the whole trip. That was right after I spent $50 on one drink and two pieces of sushi, which I happily ate while staring at a dead octopus 5" from my plate. I did win $60 off $2 my first night playing my new favorite game.
We went to see this! We are now hooked on Cirque du Soleil and are planning to go see a different one each year. All 7 of us decided that next year it will be this one.
Besides hanging out on the strip and going broke, we stayed at a great condo, went golfing on an awesome 18 hole putting course, and just had a fabulous time!
I was happy to come home to my puppy, but I can't wait for next year. Too bad it's so far away. But Ty and Karina (Nick too!) did promise to come visit here this summer, so they better!
