Again...2 days behind. Better late then never!

I love new car smell! Even though I've only had a new car once, it's just sooo nice to drive a new, shiny, clean, new smelling car! Even though my Jetta was 6 years old when I got it, Jetta's (and maybe all VW's, I don't know) have a distinct smell. A lot of people think it smells like crayons. I just think it smells new forever...that is...until you spill a whole bottle of oil in your trunk!

Now my 10 year old Jetta smells like nasty, make you wanna throw up oil! And it's probably gonna burst into flames at some point!

What my hood is going to look like by next year!

Living in MN has given a slow death to my beautiful Jetta. It's so low to the ground that it can't handle all the snow and ice which has ripped off my bumper numerous times. It's also getting lovely rust spots all over it's shiny red paint from all the winter salt. =( The snow and ice make the interior sooo gross all winter. I think it's time to either move the Jetta back to it's natural habitat (California!) or get a more appropriate vehicle for MN.
