I love antiques.

I have been looking for a hutch for our kitchen for a while now.

I've searched Craigslist, driven to faraway stores looking for something brand new (and the only thing I liked was in the range of $4000!).
Rubber Supplies...??This weekend I found "it!"

It's really tall...And probably around 100 years old, according to the lady at the store.

Lucy is over 70lbs. to give some perspective on just how tall this thing is.

It holds a lot of stuff which is what I need.
Our kitchen has no cabinet space and has minimal closets.

The best part about this antique hutch is that it's so ugly it's beautiful...at least I think so! I think I might end up painting it...you know, when I get some motivation to paint (see the half painted trim in this picture?? It may be a while). Any suggestions on what color I should paint it? I will probably end up painting the walls another color too...at some point.
