Two of these things are not like the other(s)...or something like that!
The other day Craig went to visit a farm and came home with farm fresh eggs. I'm pretty sure I've never eaten eggs that weren't from a grocery store. I was shocked to see how colorful they are. And how small. It really makes me think. What the heck are we really eating when we eat huge, bright white store bought eggs??
We also have a sixth of a cow in our freezer right now. I hardly ever purchase beef because it's so much more expensive than chicken, but Craig's parents were kind enough to buy some grass fed beef from a farm in Wisconsin for us.
The other night for dinner we had our organic beef, home grown zucchini with farm fresh eggs (in zucchini cakes). It was the most organic meal I've ever made. It's amazing how much more I enjoyed cooking with "natural" ingredients.
I'm off to cook some more beef and zucchini!
