4 years!

Today I celebrate four years of marriage with the best husband ever! I cannot believe how quickly four years has gone by. Four years ago today I had just finished finals two days ago, moved out of my apartment, had all 3+ of my parents in one place, a couple hundred friends and family visiting, about five freak outs (not about my husband or getting married, more about all of the above), and a knot in my back. But as soon as I walked down the aisle, all the craziness subsided and I celebrated the greatest day of my life to date. In some ways, that day seems like yesterday, while at the same time a lot has happened in the last four years.

In 4 years of marriage we have...

1.) Both graduated from college
2.) Lived in Azusa, CA, Pasadena, CA & Minneapolis, MN
3.) Got grown up jobs (I'm still unsure of how we survived the first year financially) and then new grown up jobs
4.) Had 2 dogs, Lucy & Shelly
5.) Lived in some very different settings
-First in a big, nice apartment-2 beds, 2 baths, central AC, hot tub, heated pool, 2 car garage in the LA suburbs.
-Tiny, really crappy apartment-1 bed, 1 bath, no AC, dirty, unheated pool, 1 parking space in the city.
-Bought a house in the Minneapolis suburbs.
6.) Moved across the country
7.) Had some interesting car experiences..
-Lived for a month without a car
-Sold a car for $200
-Bought 2 much more expensive cars
-Totaled 1 car
8.) Gone to court twice! Once for a car, once for a dog (Hopefully it will be more than 4 years til we do that again)
9.) Became business owners
10.) Became an "Auntie" and "Uncle"
11.) Visited 12 states together (and a few more before we were married)
12.) Camped once...not so great. Maybe we should try this again.
13.) Gone on a few cheap vacations...hopefully the next 4 years will include Mexico, Hawaii and the Caribbean!
14.) Argued a lot!
15.) Loved a lot!
16.) And much, much more!

And they lived happily ever after!
